Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has declared open the 35th edition of the National Festival of Arts and Culture at the National Stadium Surulere in Lagos State.
The event is schedule to take place from 7th to 13t of this month has twenty five states and the FCT , expected to participate with the theme “Culture and Peaceful Co-existance” is aimed at promoting peace and Conflict resolution among Nigeria’s.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu called on all participating States to redouble effort in winning all the categories.
In a remark ,the Executive Director ,Katsina State History and Culture Bureau Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Baba disclosed that the state would participate in different categories that include Children Arts and Crafts , Archery , Traditional Cuisines ,Drama Presentation among others. Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Baba expressed optimism with the calibre and experience of the state contingent that they will deliver in winning the competition.
While expressing the Bureau gratitude to Governor Aminu Bello Masari for his support at all time , Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Baba urged people of Katsina state to pray for the participants that are representing the state in the ongoing 35th edition of the National Festival of Arts and Culture currently holding in Lagos State.
