A group, UpNorth Ambassadors for Obi has reiterated the determination of Labour Party to provide good governance to Nigerians if given the mandate in the forthcoming general elections. The Convener of the group, Mr Chigozie Ifeanyi-Chukwu gave the assurance while commissioning Almajiri School and Borehole renovated and repaired by the group at Shinkafi Village of Katsina Local Government Area. Chigozie Ifeanyi-Chukwu said the group has provided similar gesture to vulnerable communities in Dutsinma, Malumfshi and Funtua Local Government Areas of the state. He pointed out that the group was out to sensitize and mobilize rural communities with a view to canvassing more support for Peter Obi. The Convener explained that the group which operated in 19 Northern States and FCT was concerned and passionate about changing the state of things in the country for better governance. The beneficiary of the project Malam Abdulrazaq Garba Shinkafi expressed gratitude to the association for giving them a sense of belonging. He said the gesture was the first of its kind since the establishment of the school 30 years ago. COV/SY/AY
