The multi milliin naira Damaturu International Airport has been inaugurated and named after President BuhariPresident Muhammadu Buhari in company of Governor Mai Mala Buni inaugurated the cargo airport during a two day working visit to Yobe state. Other project inaugurated by the president include the newly built Police Headquarters, Police Ultra-modern Market, Maternal and Child Health Care Complex as well as the Damaturu Ultra modern market and a model school. Other dignitaries that accompanied the President included Senate President, Ahmed Lawan,Gov Babagana Zulum of Borno, Minister for Power, Abubakar D Aliyu, Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammed Dingyadi, among others.COV/Alkasim Bala.
