The Katsina state PDP gubernatorial candidate senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke, has promised farmers in the state of sufficient fertilizer at a subsidized rate,if elected.
He made the promise during his campaign rally in Daura local government area where he was welcomed by a jubilant crowd. Senator yakubu Lado also pledged to provide free primary and secondary Education to restore its lost glory in the state. The candidate who lamented the deteriorating state of insecurity and economic backwardness which brought the socio-economic wellbeing of the masses to a standstill, assured to bring the situation under control.
The chairman of the campaign council senator Umar Ibrahim Tsauri,said the PDP if given the mandate at the National and state levels,will transform all developmental aspects from their current predicament.
The DG of the council Dr.Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa warned the electorate against compromising their Permanent Voter Card for token monetary gains.
Also speaking, the senatorial candidate for Daura zone, Senator Ahmad Babba kaita,accused the state APC government of using public funds to campaign for the Party’s governorship candidate, warning that the act will not go unchecked.
The state PDP chairman Alhaji Lawal Magaji Danbachi,welcomed over 27 thousand decampees to the party in Daura LGA.
A day earlier,the PDP had while on a campaign tour of maiadua LGA, received about 30 thousand decampees from the ruling APC and other parties.
