Kwara State Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq has urged the citizens to continue to support the Armed Forces in their task of maintaining peace and keeping the territorial integrity of the country.
The Governor stated this at the celebration of the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in honour of the fallen heroes in Ilorin.
He said it was necessary as a country to continue to immortalise the fallen heroes for being patriotic ,as well as their sacrifices they rendered to guarantee safety and survival of mankind.
AbdulRazaq expressed confidence that Nigeria is indivisible despite all security challenges.
He assured that robust security controls was being worked upon by President Muhammadu Buhari to create a peaceful environment for the conduct of the general elections .
In his address the chairman of the Nigerian Legion ,Kwara state branch , Brigadier General Abdulkadir Anigiobi ( rtd) urged Nigerians to continue to support their course to give them a good lease of life.END
