The Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps in Kano Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad has encouraged the Newly Sworn-in Corp 2023 Batch A Stream 1 corps members to ensure healthy interactions and Exchange Ideas that would broaden their understanding of the Country.Aisha Tata Mohammed stated this during the Swearing-in Ceremony of Batch A stream corps members of Kano held at the permanent orientation camp kusalla, Karaye Kano. Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad said the graduates were deliberately assembled from diverse ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds to promote the National Unity.She maintained that the Federal Government was living no stone unturned in addressing the challenges of unemployment by providing Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development program.”The program was meant to prepare Corps members for self Employment and wealth creation through vocational and entrepreneurial training as well as linkage with financial institutions and other funding sources for business start-up financing””The orientation was primarily designed to prepare and equip corps members physically and mentally for their unique roles during the service year”In a remark, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje represented by the commissioner for youth and sports Comrade Ado Lakwaya urged the corps members to adhere to the rules and regulations of the camp, and should utilize the opportunity in making contacts and be guided by decipline and patriotism , geared toward moving the nation forward.He said kano state government was committed in identifying with the National youth service corps , and would continue to support every efforts of the scheme aimed at ensuring efficient realization of the schemes objectives.Ganduje maintained that the orientation training was primarily designed to prepare and equip corps members physically and mentally for their unique roles during the service year.The ceremony was attended by heads of security agencies and other stakeholders.Abdullahi jalaluddeen /Kano
