President Mohammad Buhari has Commissioned Galaxy backbone Data Center in Kano.
The president was on a one day official visit to kano.
The Data collection center was an initiative of the Buhari’s Led Administration which the first of its kind in Northern Nigeria.
The solar power was initiated by the federal government in collaboration with Kano state government with the sole aim of enhancing electricity supply to industries.
President Buhari was accompanied by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, ha deputy and other senior government officials .
Speaking during the ceremony , the minister of Minister of Communication and Digital Economy professor Ali Isa Pantami sad the Data collection center said the was the first of its kind in northern Nigeria.
He said with the modern facilities installed , the data collection center is the best so far in the country.
“The reliability of data collection of the facility is 99.99% so it almost hundred percent reliable “
Professor Ali Isa Pantami said the center would pave way for improving digital economy , providing job opportunities,enhancing cyber security as well as supporting the nation to consolidate the nations digital economy.
President Muhammadu Buhari also Comissioned the Kano Multi Billions Caner Treatment Center, Aliko Dangote ultra modern Skills acquisition center,and Mohammad Buhari interchange bridge.
The presidential visit received welcome cheers from members of the public who converged to have a glimpse of Mr President.
