Sarkin Makafin Katsina Alhaji Garba Muhammad Nahuta has appealed to people of Katsina State to intensify prayers against the challenges bedivilling the state and the country at large.
Alhaji Garba Muhammad Nahuta made the appeal in an interview with Radio Nigeria in Katsina.
He said people can overcome the current inflation and increase in fuel pump price through prayers, describing supplication as the greatest weapon of adherents.
He equally charged people of the state to pray for leaders to provide
security, peace and good governance in the state and the country in general.
While congratulating the newly sworn in Governor of Katsina State Malam Dikko Umar Radda, Alhaji Nahuta urged the Governor to assent the bill which was passed by the State House of Assembly seeking to establish commission for persons living with disability in the state.
He said if assented, the bill will provide employment to people living with disability in the state.
