The General Manager of Radio Nigeria Companion FM, Katsina Engineer Mukhtar Abubakar Dutsinma has pledged the commitment of the station to partner with Darma Rice Mill Limited to provide food security to the people of the state.
The General Manager was speaking when he received the management of the Rice Company under the leadership of the General Manager Sani Abubakar Garba on a courtesy visit.
Engineer Dutsinma who appreciated the visit said it has opened door for the two organisations to promote their mutual relationship hence to bring succor to the well being of the people of the state.
The General Manager noted that, establishing the company in the state will assist in reducing restiveness among youth and economic development in the state.
Earlier the General Manager of the Darma Rice Mill Limited, Sani Abubakar Garba said, they were at the station to intimate the station’s management the mission and vision of the company. He said the company is an indeginious rice mill who is the leading provider of parboiled local 
rice in Nigeria.
According to him, in view of the importance of Radio Station in enlightening people, the Company find it necessary to visit the station so as to put hands on deck for the betterment of the two organisations in particular and the state at large.
He spoke extensively on the procedures adopted by the company towards producing the product and progression of the company.
Sani Abubakar revealed that, the company provided over one thousand direct job and uncountable numbers of indirect job to the people of the state. This according to him, in addition to the opportunity given to the Industrial Training and allowance given to the best student in the department of food and nutrition among others.
