The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, says the appointment of the new service chiefs and National Security Adviser, would rejuvenate the security architecture in the country.
In a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity Musa Kirshi, the speaker said other appointments made by the president, such as of the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, among others, would also make the institutions work better.
Dr Abbas lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for taking the bold decision, which he said would make the current administration begin on a sound footing.
He urged the appointees to bring their experience of many years to bear in their new assignments so as to turn things around in the security system.
