Katsina state Government has planned to recruit youth and train them from Eight front line local Govt areas affected by bandits to help in tackling security challenges.
The state Deputy Governor Malam faruk llawal Jobe disclosed this shortly after Juma’at prayer at Kankara JIBWIS central mosque.
Malam faruk Lawal Jobe was at Kankara to pay Eid homage to friends relatives and welwishers.
The Deputy Governor noted that tackling security challenges is a collective responsibility of all, hence the need for community cooperation to end the manace.

He then called on traditional institutions to help in that process to make sure that the youth to be recruited are of good Character.
Malam faruk Lawal Jobe stressed that Islamic scholars and traditional rulers are well respected in the society which necessitate their involvement in selection process of youth to be recruited.
He called on them to fear Allah in the task given to them.
The Deputy Governor stressed that Government is so much concerned about security of lives and property of the entire people in the state.
