Katsina state government to partner investors for massive housing scheme.
Katsina state government says it would partner with investors and estate developers to provide affordable housing units in the state.
The General Manager of the state Housing Authority, Engineer Aminu Mairua, stated this when he assumed office at the Housing headquarters in Katsina.
This according to him is part of Governor Dikko Radda’s administration’s commitment to invest massively in the provision of affordable Housing units across the three senatorial zones of the state.
Speaking Engineer Mairua stated that he was posted to the housing authority to ensure and implement the Housing Blueprint of Governor Radda.
Engineer Mairua added that the provision of qualitative and quantitative affordable housing would be the mantra of the present administration in the state.
“I understand that the Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, (NIESV) have a yearly award they give to states Housing corporations thst excell well, and unfortunately Katsina State has never been nominated.
“With what we have on ground on the housing blueprint, katsina state would be nationally recognized this time around.”
He expressed his determination to reposition the authority for growth and profitability in a sustainable manner.
He however called on staff of the authority to cooperate and work selflessly and diligently so as to meet the target set for the authority by the state governor.
