Katsina state government has set up a committee to investigate kidnapping and subsequent murder of village head of Dabaibayawa in Ɓatagarawa Local Government Area.
The Committee will be 
chaired by the state Deputy governor Mallam Faruk Lawal Jobe.
While inaugurating the Committee in his office, the Deputy Governor Mallam Faruk Lawal Jobe stated that, the State Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda has approved the formation of the committee so as to investigate the murder of the village head and to find out the culprit involved into the act.
He said the, committee comprised representatives of the Police force, State Security Service, Nigeria Civil Defence Corps.
Others are, Ministry of justice and that of local chieftancy affairs and Katsina Emirate Council.
The Deputy Governor explained, the committee has two weeks to submit its report for Government consideration.
On behalf of the Katsina Emirate, Sarkin Fulani Hamcheta Alh Lawal Idris Bagiwa expressed gratitude to the Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda for constituting the committee and assured readiness to work with the committee to achieve the set objectives.
