Nigerian Shippers Council has donated instruction materials to Lami Abba Community Girls Secondary in Katsina metropolis.
While presenting the materials, the Katsina Area Officer of the council, Muhammad Ibrahim Abba said, the donation is part of the council commitment to compliment government efforts on education.
He said, it was also aprt of the council zeal to render corporate social responsibility to its host communities.
Muhammad Ibrahim Abba explained that, the council is committed towards the improvement of the standard of education in Katsina state hence to give it part to achieve the set objectives.
He said, the items presented include Text books comprised, English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Home Economy, and intergrated Sceince and other instructional materials among others.
While receiving the donation, the Chairman Board of Trusty of the School, Aliyu Ibrahim Matazu who expressed appreciaition to the council for the donation pledged to use it properly.
He also called on the other councils to emulate.
A student of the school Hauwa Umar expressed gratitude to the council for the gesture saying that, it will assist them to improve their teachin and learning.
