A committee set up by the Katsina State Government to review allocation of shops at Fatima Baika Katsina central market has paid on the spot assessement visit.
The committee chairman of committee Barrister Mukhtar Aliyu Saulawa Deputy Governor chief of staff Government house said the committee was set following series of complains received by the Government from traders.
He said the committee is to revisiting allocation of shops to the traders to find out weather genuine owners of shops affected by previous fire outbreak in the market received the allocation.
Barrister Mukhtar Aliyu Saulawa said, the committee has observed some irregularities and illegal structures hence justice will be done to all players.
The Committee Chairman noted that, the committee will conduct its duty without fear or favour.
During the visit the committee chairman and its members inspect some blocked drainages in the market as a result of erecting some buildings along water ways.
Also the committee chairman also inspect female toilet which is also bliocked by some structures that prevent access.
Barrister mukhtar saulawa called for continued cooperation of the traders to the committee to enable it discharge its assignment succrssifully.
