Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa has visited wounded in action soldiers at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the visit, General Christopher Musa explained that the purpose of the visit was to appreciate and encourage the wounded soldiers.
According to him, the get well soon visit was also to boost their morale, and to assure them of the Armed Forces’ commitment towards doing everything possible to adequately cater for them, even if it means sponsoring them for further treatment abroad.
The CDS expressed delight over what he saw in terms of the serene nature of the hospital environment as well as committed and professional staff.
While assuring troops in the various theatres of operations of support, General Musa charged them to continue to discharge their duties professionally.
