Former National Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC Senator Abdullahi Adamu has called on people of nasarawa state to support the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule to succeed for overall interest and development of the state.
The former APC National Chairman made the call at a book launch written by Abdullahi Tanimu to assess the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule from inception titled ‘Progressive Governance held in lafia the State Capital
Senator Abdullahi Adamu who was the first civilian Governor of Nasarawa State, said Goveenor Abdullahi Sule had consolidated on the achievements of his predecessors and have improved on them.
The Former APC National Chairman who commended the developmental strides, maintained that, they are really proud of the Governor saying that it is right to continue to pray and support him as critical stakeholders in the state.
On his part, The Senator representing Nasarawa West Senator Aliyu Ahmed Wadada commended the Governor for attracting investors such as Dangote, Flour Mill, Azman Rice among other companies to the state.
He said Goveenor Abdullahi Sule had constructed classrooms and renovated many schools, constructed modern and neighborhood markets, roads, bus terminars among others, adding that there is no sector that has not receive attention and boost by the Governor in the State.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Public Account also called on the people of the state to continue to support the Governor to succeed irrespective of their religion, tribal or political affiliations.
Senator Aliyu Ahmed Wadada also commended the author of the book for taken the pain to document the achievements of the Governor and expressed optimism that it would be resourceful to researchers and students.
Earlier, Governor Abdullahi Sule said very soon the State Government will embark on more developmental projects that would have direct bearing in the lives of the people and also train and retrian the workforce for optimal performance.
The Governor also said that the government had paid the counterpart funds for 2023 to Universal Basic Education Commission and over 140 schools is to be constructed soonest under that arrangement.
Goveenor Abdullahi Sule while commending the author for recognizing his effort toward developing the state and making it viable for investors to come revealed that the State Government has concluded plans to construct fifteen kilometers road in each of the thirteen local government areas in the state.
Speaking at the event, the author of the book “tittled’ Progressive Governance said he was motivated due to the leadership style of the Governor who believe in inclusivity.
The author who is physically challenged, said the Governor Abdullahi Sule had done a lot and he went round the state and took pictures as well as interacted with communities where the projects were cited.
Radio Nigeria reports that the book with 230 pages, has 23 chapters as revealed by Professor George Genyi of Political Science Department, Federal University of Lafia during his review of the book.
