Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has called on all intending pilgrims in the State to utilize the extension of deadline of payment by NAHCON to complete their Hajj deposit.
Executive Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu Abubakar made the call in a statement issued to newsmen by the Agency’s spokesperson, Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi in Kaduna.
Malam Salihu Abubakar explained that the extension provides valuable time for those who have not registered to fulfill their dream of performing Hajj.
He reminded intending pilgrims that registration can only be done through the designated registration officers in all the twenty-three areas of the State, by obtaining a customized bank teller from the officers before making their deposit.
The Executive Chairman re-iterated the commitment of the Agency to providing all necessary support and guidance towards ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj experience for all intending pilgrims.
It would be recalled that the National Hajj Commission-NAHCON had extended the Hajj deposit deadline for this year to January thirty-first, following calls from religious leaders and stakeholders for wider participation in the holy pilgrimage.
