*NAF SET TO INDUCT COMBAT HELICOPTERS*
The Nigerian Airforce says it is set to induct its newly acquired T-129 ATAK helicopters and King Air 360i aircraft tomorrow at the NAF base in Makurdi, Benue State.
In a statement by Director of Public Relations and Information of the NAF, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the induction ceremony will be performed by President Bola Tinubu, to be represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
According to the statement, the event signifies a major boost to Nigeria’s national defense capability under the current dispensation.
It adds that the new platforms would enhance NAF’s firepower as it jointly confronts the various security challenges in the country, alongside sister services and other security agencies.
