The Northwest Co’ordinator of IGBO group for Asiwaju/Shatima Prince Uche Okonkwo has appealed to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to consider the appointment of inter-ethnic political group members and leaders who contributed and voted for APC party at all level during the general election into some key positions.
Prince Uche Ukonkwo was speaking during an interview with newsmen in Katsina.
Mr. Prince Uche Ukonkwo explained that the inter-ethnic political group members comprises Igbo’s staying in the north, Yoruba’s staying East and Hausa staying in the southern part of the country.
He said the call was not because of his is part of the such political group, but in view of his position as fan to president Ahmed bola Tinubu who serve as voice of the voiceless.
According to him, Nigerians are aware of the efforts being made by the President Tinubu’s administration to restore the peaceful atmosphere across the country and his renewal hope programme.
He pointed out that, he was aware of the facts that, the political appointment will not cut across everybody contributed to the successes of the government but priority should be attach to the traditional leaders and members of the ethical group.
The North-West Coordinator explained that, the measure will contribute immensely in reducing tribal and ethical hate amongst Nigerians, unemployment , poverty , hunger , minimize crime, and restored economic development and progress.
