The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Radio Nigeria Companion FM, Katsina Chapel has conferred the grand patron of the Chapel to the Commissioner for Special Duties Alhaji Isah Muhammad Musa.
The conferment took place at the Commissioner’s office during a Courtesy Visit to the Commissioner by the officials of the Chapel.
While highlighting some of the responsibilities of the Ministry the Commissioner explained that social and humanitarian Services in Katsina State is been repositioned to better serve people of the State.
The Commissioner said the core mandate of his Ministry will continue to be sustained, in line with the Blueprint of Governor Dikko Umar Radda’s vision for resuscitating the State.
Appreciating the visit by the Chapel, as well as his appointment as Patron of the Chapel, he promised to continue the Ministry’s close collaboration with Radio Nigeria Companion FM to make live more meaningful for people in the State.
The Commissioner spoke on the role being played by the Chapel in propagating the ministry’s activities, which he said contributed towards the development of the ministry.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman Radio Nigeria Companion FM Chapel Katsina, Comrade Aminu Musa Bukar who congratulated the Commissioner on his appointment by Governor Dikko Umar Radda, said his track record in the public service is worthy of emulation and praiseworthy.
Comrade Aminu Musa Bukar said the Commissioner media friendly disposition informed this decision by the Chapel to select him as its patron.
Highlights of the visit was, the presentation of the letter by the Chapel appointing Alhaji Isah Muhammad Musa as Patron, inspection of the Ministry’s premises and photograph session.
